It's officially recognised, now, that to feel connected to Nature, do Reiki and/or other healing techniques and be drawn to Eastern Spiritual understanding...i.e. going within and working out the reasons you are feeling unhappy & realising the need to deal with your own attitude and beliefs to heal yourself, is part of a major movement.
Educational establishments and leading authorities in religious understanding have concluded that Paganism and other understandings within the 'New Age' movement do have common denominators and people, whilst taking responsibility for their own spirituality and healing, are drawn to Nature and ancient understanding of Nature - i.e. Paganism, Native American understanding, - and Eastern philosophies - Buddhism based understanding mainly.
As a Reiki Master, I have found myself drawn in exactly the same way and wondered about my sanity more than once, however reading other peoples material has been a relief...& now thanks to the Open University, I can be assured that we were right all along, the real path to spiritual freedom and healing is the way I'm walking. Great to know isn't it, we can drop the doubts and just enjoy walking our own unique paths, I know my path & I am unique, I know this because I have Unicorn Medicine, precious isn't it.
Even more stunning is the realisation that however an individual starts out on their path, and whatever their motivations, they all arrive at the same connectedness, even though each individual has walked their own unique path to get there...
Through Reiki and being interested in The Great Spirit...I've come back to Earth, know myself and I'm truly blessed, and very grateful.
What's also special is the knowledge that working on oneself raises the consciousness beyond the warring others...and that by creating within oneself this peaceful, beautiful space which is reflected around, as within so without, one can actually work towards lifting the energies of others within the human race.
Perhaps current wars are a healing crisis...
